The base shall is designed with ten curved flutes and be made of cast aluminum alloy A356.2 virgin ingot, cooper free, cast in permanent iron molds. It has a 5/16” thick anchor plate cast as an integral part of the base. The shaft is double circumferentially welded internally and externally to the base for added strength. Prior to coating, each assembly is sandblasted to create a uniform surface texture and to ensure superior bonding of primer and finish coat. Two coats of wash primer are applied to increase bonding strength followed by two coats of industrial enamel. The total assembly is wrapped in shock proof wrapping and then fully enclosed in corrugated cartons.
