EE Global 2009 will serve as an exchange of the latest technical, commercial and policy information, and will forge partnerships and develop best practices, policies and strategies for global implementation.
EE Global is the only international event that focuses solely on energy efficiency from the perspective of all energy end-use sectors (buildings, industrial and transportation) and with coverage of all cross-cutting issues – finance, policy, technology and market transformation. And while there are many conferences and symposia organized around the issue of energy, none to date has sought to build the strategic alliances between international governments, business and the public interest sector that are the hallmark of the EE Global series.
How it Works
The format for EE Global 2009 allows for self-created agendas and plenty of networking opportunities through the following outlets:
-Four Plenary Sessions delivering insightful and engaging remarks made by industry leaders from around the globe;
-Twenty-four concurrent Executive Dialogue Sessions with tracks specifically organized around the buildings, industrial and utility, transportation and consumer sectors, with sessions in each focusing on a variety of timely topics in the areas of policy, finance, technology and market transformation; and,
-A 40,000-square foot Exposition Hall housing the very latest in energy-efficient products and services, featuring the very people who create and market them.
EE Global: Here and Now
The world has awakened to the enormous potential of energy efficiency to address energy, environmental and economic imperatives simultaneously. Now, an historic opportunity lies before us: to overcome barriers and challenges to realizing the full potential of energy efficiency from Mumbai, to Johannesburg to Moscow to Paris and all of the points in between. EE Global will be designed to establish the road map for fully exploiting the energy efficiency "resource".
Hosting the event in Paris, France, will allow the leaders of energy efficiency in Europe to showcase their best practices and strategies for energy-efficiency deployment while also learning from those from around the globe who will be speaking at and/or attending the event.
On behalf of the EE Global International Planning Committee and the Alliance to Save Energy, we invite you to participate in this forum, to meet and plan an energy-efficient, secure and sustainable future.
